Book Overview

Overview
While Passing Through is an enthralling narrative which begins with the travails of a baby girl born in Belize only days before one of the country's deadliest hurricanes. Her destiny to surmount some of the most gargantuan ordeals anyone could survive has brought her to a place where her story and the very many lessons learned are filled with a transformative power that has the potential to channel others through their own healing, to live a life liberated from the chains of a horrifying past and to step into a new dawn of hope and unconditional love for oneself, for others, and most of all for the Creator—YAHUAH!

This book would truly give hope to the hopeless. Just as the author was overwhelmed in her stories, many people today are feeling the same way. Both young and old would learn from this book and be inspired.

...a powerful and heart-wrenching memoir that takes readers on an emotional journey through the life of a child who faces unimaginable hardships, poverty, and abuse. Written with raw honesty and unflinching detail, this book offers a stirring account of the author's transformation from a vulnerable and abused child to a person of strength, resilience, and faith.

I hope that after reading Bev-E's life story others will be encouraged to speak up so that perpetrators can be punished by the legal system. Unfortunately, most abusers are cowards and would go to great lengths to threaten young victims. If young children can be taught about abuse and given safe places at schools, churches, and so on, where they can seek help, it would be ideal.
